FAQs
Most pattern hair loss in men and women is hereditary (androgenetic). At your assessment Dr Bonaros examines the pattern and density of your hair to help explain the likely cause and what it means for treatment.
Suitability depends on your donor area, the stage and pattern of loss, your age and your goals. Some people are better suited to non-surgical options first — and we'll tell you honestly if that's the case.
FUE is a well-established procedure performed here in a regulated clinical setting. As with any medical procedure there are risks, which Dr Bonaros discusses fully with you before you decide to go ahead.
Temporary swelling, redness and scabbing in the treated areas are common in the days after the procedure. We give you clear aftercare guidance and follow up with you throughout recovery.
In many cases, yes. We see patients seeking refinement or repair of previous transplants. Bring any details you have and we'll give you a candid assessment of what's achievable.
